Permanent full-time employees who have completed their
probationary period shall be eligible for a two-day leave of absence
with pay in each fiscal year. Such leave shall be granted only for
reasons of personal business requiring the employee’s presence
during his normal working hours and which cannot be postponed to another
time outside of normal working hours. Reasons for such leave may not
include reasons specifically covered by other provisions of this policy.
Personal days may not be accumulated or carried over from year to
year, and the failure to use personal days by the employee will lose
the two personal days if not used by the end of the fiscal year.
